This upset forging galvanized parallel thread coupler differs from common straight thread fittings. Rebar end is upset and thickened first to expand thread bearing area, effectively preventing thread slip under heavy load. Whole surface undergoes hot-dip galvanizing instead of spray paint, forming integrated zinc protective layer that closely adheres to steel substrate to block moisture and chloride penetration.
