Unlike conventional parallel thread couplers with equal-diameter inner holes, this product adopts gradual conical thread design from end to middle. The tapered profile creates automatic wedging force during screwing. When bearing axial tension, the fitting degree between thread and rebar will become tighter, which effectively stops loosening caused by building vibration and alternating load. The whole body is one-piece forged and machined, owning solid structure and strong anti-deformation capability.

Vertical bar diameter change in shear walls: From large diameter at the bottom to small diameter at the top of shear walls, diameter-changing coupler are faster and more reliable in quality.
Main bar diameter change in beams: Frame beams, secondary beams, and foundation beams: when the diameters of the longitudinal bars and support bars are different, diameter-changing couplers are more reliable and faster than welding or lapping.
Diameter-changing parts in foundations and basements: Main bars of pile foundations connecting to columns, and main bars of pile caps and foundation beams: in critical load-bearing parts underground, diameter-changing coupler should be given priority.
Is taper thread coupler reusable after disassembly?
It is designed for one-time engineering use to ensure long-term structural safety, repeated disassembly is not recommended.
