Φ12–Φ40mm
One-Touch Rebar Coupler is an innovative mechanical splicing sleeve for construction rebar, also the world’s first fully manual instant rebar connection product. Different from traditional threaded couplers, welded joints and pressed splices, it eliminates rebar pre-processing, special machinery, power supply and heat source entirely.
The coupler body is precision-machined from high-strength alloy carbon steel, with pre-installed spring locking cone wedges and segmented clamping rings, plus internal stoppers at both ends. During construction, insert two rebars separately from two ends until hitting the stoppers; internal wedges automatically clamp rebar ribs to form a 360° uniform mechanical lock, transferring tension and compression force evenly to make two rebars perform as a continuous whole bar.
All couplers are pre-assembled and heat-treated in factory with unified dimensional precision to avoid human operation errors. Full size series covers D12/D13/D14/D16/D18/D19/D20/D22/D25/D28/D29/D32/D36/D40, with standardized outer diameter, length and unit weight. Custom sizes are acceptable for special project demands. Every batch passes tensile, fatigue and salt spray anti-corrosion tests, with laser marking for full production batch traceability. Tensile test shows the 16mm one-touch coupler reaches tensile strength up to 739MPa.
Size: 12mm-40mm
Meet the requirements of steel bars: HRB500/B500B/SD600/ASTM 75
Material: 40CR
Standard: BS4449, ISO15835,ACI318
Craft: Forged housing + alloy steel wedge clamping parts
Ultra-Fast Installation & Cost Saving
Only two simple steps are needed to finish one splice within 10-15 seconds, while traditional threaded couplers take 1-2 minutes, lifting construction efficiency by around 80%. No rebar threading or polishing procedures, cutting machinery purchase, maintenance and labor costs. Workers can operate it without professional technical training.
Tool-Free Cold Connection with Wide Environmental Adaptability
100% manual insertion without hydraulic machines, welding equipment or threading machines, generating no open flame or loud noise. Cold forming operation fits freezing ground, wet foundation pits, high-temperature open sites, closed underground spaces and other high-risk confined construction areas without fire hazards.
Stable Self-Locking & Dual Standard Safety Certification
Unique internal cone wedge self-locking design prevents slippage with uniform stress distribution. It meets domestic standards JGJ 107-2016, GB/T 50214 and international ISO 15835, CCC certification, classified as Type II mechanical splice. Under ultimate tensile load, the base rebar yields and fractures first rather than the coupler, eliminating structural risks caused by joint failure.
Full Size Compatibility
Compatible with all common deformed rebar from Φ12 to Φ40, matching HRB400/HRB500 national standard rebars and rebar standards of various countries. Standard dimensions support customized sizes for precast components and special beam-column joints.
Reusable & Eco-Friendly
Wear-resistant integral structure allows repeated disassembly and reuse, reducing construction material consumption and project cost, conforming to green construction requirements.
Perfect for Narrow Working Spaces
Compact outer diameter enables easy operation at beam-column joints, pile caps, vertical shafts, tunnel linings and other narrow areas inaccessible to large machinery. Ideal for building reinforcement renovation and emergency structural repair projects.
Civil Buildings: High-rise apartments, office building beam-column joints, raft foundations, precast PC component splicing
Transportation Infrastructure: Bridge piers, box girder rebar connection, tunnel primary & secondary lining, metro underground pipe galleries
Special Engineering: Foundation pit support, pile caps, existing building reinforcement renovation, post-disaster emergency structural repair
Special Construction Sites: Remote job sites without power supply, closed confined spaces, low-temperature winter construction and humid underwater projects
Standard Construction Operation Process
① Rebar Preparation: Cut rebar ends flat, remove rust, oil and cement residue on bar ends;
② Insert Bottom Bar: Push the lower rebar into the coupler until touching the internal stopper;
③ Insert Top Bar: Insert the upper rebar from the opposite end until fully seated with an audible locking click;
④ Depth Inspection: Check the marked insertion line on rebars to confirm full insertion. Concrete pouring can be conducted immediately without curing, heating or pressing waiting time.
Internal Structure & Working Principle
The coupler consists of outer steel sleeve, spring locking assembly, tapered locking wedges and optional dustproof end caps. When inserting rebar, axial pushing force drives wedges to shrink radially and tightly bite rebar transverse ribs, forming full-circle mechanical interlock. Loads are evenly dispersed to avoid local stress concentration, slippage and cracking.
Factory Quality Control System
Precision machining of inner taper and wedge geometry; integral heat treatment to boost wear resistance and tensile capacity. Each batch undergoes static tensile test, fatigue test and salt spray corrosion test. Laser marking on every coupler realizes full traceability of production, inspection and delivery, guaranteeing consistent dimensional performance unaffected by worker proficiency.
Comparative Advantages vs Traditional Joints
Vs Welded Joint: No fire approval required, no brittle weld fracture risk, no welding rod consumption;
Vs Hydraulic Pressed Coupler: Eliminates hydraulic equipment, oil pipes and power source, reducing equipment transportation workload;
Vs Threaded Coupler: Cancels rebar threading process, avoiding common quality defects like damaged threads and insufficient screwing depth.
